No change at the top of the ladder after both the Sharks and the Storm maintained their good form by winning their fixtures in round 19 while the race for finals places is still wide open. The game of the round last week saw the Sea Eagles record back to back wins after defeating the Warriors with a golden point field goal. Continue reading for our NRL Round 20 Preview and Tips.

Cowboys v Bulldogs
The Cowboys go into this after having the week off to freshen up after their round 18 loss away to the Raiders and with Origin over for another year they will expect to mount a challenge once again now that they have their star players back. Their 26-12 defeat last time out can be pushed to one side due to their depleted team and they will be primed and ready for this and will hope to keep their impressive unbeaten home record in tact. The Bulldogs also come into this after having a week on the sidelines and that too will also benefit them due to players engaged in the Origin series this year. Canterbury are coming here a team in form winning their last four fixtures but they will know anything less than their best will probably see that run come to an end. Two closely matched teams on the field and that is reflected this season with the same 11-4 record but preference has to go to the Cowboys who have won all eight of their home fixtures this year.
Tip - Cowboys Win $1.40
Broncos v Panthers
After some poor performances over the last couple of weeks the Broncos got their act together in round 19 easily defeated the Rabbitohs 30-10 at ANZ Stadium keeping them in the hunt for a top four birth. With two away games coming up for the Broncos they will want to take full advantage of playing in front of their home support here. The Panthers are knocking at the door of the top eight after a hard fought win in round 19 against the Eels eventually getting over the line by four points after trailing 18-6 at half time, the game finished 22-18 after the Panthers managed to keep the Eels scoreless throughout the second half while running in three tries themselves. With Origin over the Broncos are back at full strength and their home form is solid with them winning six out of eight so preference has to be for them in this contest.
Tip - Broncos Win $1.25
Raiders v Warriors
Canberra made light work of a depleted Cowboys team in round 18 dispatching them 26-12 at the GIO Stadium and after having the week of last week will come into this full of confidence after notching up their third successive win. It has been a good season to date for the Raiders and a good run of form now will almost certainly assure them of finals football this season which currently sees them sitting fifth on the ladder. The Warriors indifferent form once again reared it's head in round 19 when they were defeated 15-14 away by the Sea Eagles, with the game tied at the siren it was Manly who scored in extra time taking the points and condemning the Warriors to another defeat on the road. The Warriors are certainly capable of winning and winning well for that matter but preference has to be for the home team who hold a 7-2 record in front of their home support this year and are the team in form.
Tip - Raiders Win $1.45
Titans v Eels
The Titans find themselves in 7th place heading the pack of four teams stuck on 20 points after their impressive 32-12 away win against the Dragons, it was a timely win for the Titans after suffering two straight losses and with three home games on the spin the Gold Coast may well be able to strengthen their position in the top eight. More trouble for the Eels off the field this week with the Norman saga but on the field they have performed well for the most part and although they lost a close one last week against the Panthers 22-18 they will come into this knowing a good performances would see them go close against a team that often buckle under pressure and just for that reason I will have a stab at them turning the Titans over at good odds.
Tip - Eels Win $2.75
Storm v Roosters
After some impressive displays of late the Storm struggled in round 19 against the Knights to stamp their authority on the game but even a poor Storm performance was enough to beat the Knights who had lost ten straight going into the fixture. That win keeps the Storm in second place nipping at the heels of the ladder leaders and with a six point gap back to the Cowboys in third the Storm know another couple of wins will almost certainly guarantee them a top four birth. Sydney suffered their fourteenth loss of the season last week but their performance against the Sharks last week was full of merit, although the lost the tie 32-20 they will take a lot of positive from a match that could of gone either way. With the Storm back on home turf and boasting a 7-1 home record this year you would expect them to win this comfortably.
Tip - Storm Win $1.25 Take The Line $1.90 -11.5 Storm
Sharks v Knights
The Sharks extended their unbeaten run to fourteen games last week but in their 32-20 win they were pushed all the way by the Roosters with the game still in the balance right up until the last minute when Feki sealed the game with a superb solo try that spanned the full length of the field. Newcastle were unlucky not to come away with anything last week in their 20-16 loss at home to the Storm but try as they might they were unable to convert their dominance of possession into points and they were made to pay by an out of sorts Storm. The Knights have now lost eleven straight and they are quickly running out of games to try and move themselves off the bottom of the ladder. Will have to be exotics in this one with the Sharks being so short in the market but they deserve to be short priced favourites and will no doubt extend their winning run to fifteen.
Tip - Sharks Win $1.04
Dragons v Wests Tigers
The Dragons lost their second consecutive game in round 19 when they were defeated at home against the Titans 32-12, trailing 14-6 at half time the Dragons quickly fell further behind and by the hour mark the writing was on the wall for a side that had only previously lost once at home this year. Currently sat in 10th on the ladder in a group consisting of four teams all sat on 20 points they will know a win here is a must if they are to challenge the top eight. Wests Tigers come into this fresh after having last week off and they will know a better second half performance is needed here than they produced in round 18 when they lost 32-22 against the Bulldogs after going in 16-16 at half time. A win for the Tigers here may not put them into the top eight but it will them a fighting chance with the season coming to it close. Wests Tigers have only won 2 from eight on the road so preference is for the Dragons to bounce back from last weeks defeat with their strong home record.
Tip - Dragons Win $2.50
Rabbitohs v Sea Eagles
The Rabbitohs have now lost their last six fixtures after they suffered a 30-10 defeat in round 19 at home to the Broncos, the late withdrawal of Adam Reynolds didn't help their cause and with time running this season they realistically need to win all their remaining fixtures if they are to have a chance of playing finals football this season. Manly made it back to back wins last week defeating the Warriors 15-14 with a field goal in extra time by Cherry-Evans, that win keeps thier season alive but they still sit in 12th place and are four points adrift of the four teams sat on 20 points fighting it out for 8th. Both teams will know the importance of this fixture and a defeat for either side will make it an uphill task to catch 8th place, although the Rabbitohs have lost their last six they have had a couple of close losses in the streak and with the teams so closely matched in the stats department this year preference if for them to improve on their poor home record of 2-7 this season.
Tip - Rabbitohs Win $2.05
